Durango/La Plata County Airport

As part of the Services Marketing and Management course at Fort Lewis College, students are currently conducting a feasibility study with the La Plata County Airport. Students have developed a survey which they use to identify air travel cycles through data analysis. The current group of students have refined the study and infused it with a higher degree of statistical significance, such as making the survey to passengers more user-friendly and also more data-base friendly, enabling them to manipulate and move data more easily. The intention of the project is to use the information gathered by this research survey to assist airport administration in preparing a presentation to the commission for obtaining new air service to Durango.
