CSIS Faculty

Evans Adams earned his Ph.D. in 1982 at the University of Southern Louisiana. He joined the faculty of Fort Lewis College in 1989, and is the CSIS department coordinator. Previously, he spent 7 years on the faculty at East Tennesse State University. His research interests include Software Engineering Education, Database Management Systems, Computer Architecture, Programming Languages, and Data Structures.

Greg Butler completed a Ph.D. in Education, with an emphasis in Information Systems, at Utah State University in 2003. He has more than 17 years of industrial experience in system development and managing organizational change, and is an IEEE Certified Software Development Professional. He joined the CSIS faculty in 2005.

Aaron Gordon received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 1985. His research interests include Web Technologies, Computer Science Education, Object Oriented Programming, and User Interfaces. He has been at Fort Lewis College since 2004, and has previously taught at Metropolitan State, Colorado School of Mines, and Northwestern University.

Brian Hanks joined Fort Lewis in 2004. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the software industry. His research interests are Software Engineering, Agile Software Development, Computer Supported Cooperative Work, and Computer Science Education. Dr. Hanks received his Ph.D. in 2005 from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Charles "Skip" Page joined the CSIS faculty in the fall of 2005 as a Visiting Professor of Information Systems. Skip did his undergraduate work at Kansas State University. He has received a Masters of Science from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology. He did a Post-Graduate Certificate in Management Information System and MBA in Management Science at the Anderson School of Business, the University of New Mexico. Skip is a twenty year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. His areas of interest are Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing/Mining.
