Fort Lewis College School of Business Administration is involved in the Durango community. The following are links to community programs that we are involved in.

Small Business Development Center

The SBDC located at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, provides assistance to all existing small businesses and others who need help in developing their ideas. The territory served by this location includes: Archuleta County, Dolores County, La Plata County, Montezuma County, San Juan County, Southern Ute Indian Tribe, and Ute Mountain Ute Indian Tribe.

Colorado Center for Tourism

The Colorado Center for Tourism Research (CCTR) in the School of Business Administration at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado is dedicated to providing research and outreach services that enhance the understanding of travel and tourism and its relationship to the culture and the environment of the Four Corners Region.

Office of Economic Analysis & Business Research

This office, located in the School of Business Administration, provides information on the local economy. Four Corners Economic Quarterly, a newsletter on local economic conditions, is published quarterly. It hosts the Southwest Business Forum each January. The Forum presents reports and forecasts of local, state, and national economic conditions. Both the Econometer and the Southwest Business Forum are available to the public free of charge.
